In my search for online dating sites on the net, I discovered a new group of sites catering to the senior dating scene. This segment of the market is hotting up, presumably because of the familiarity of the baby-boomers with PCs and Apple and the King of the Net - Facebook.

These sites include dating options for persons above fifty or thereabouts. Although many of the popular and large dating sites offer services to all age groups and you can simply search for age groups above 50, there is a trend in the dating industry of ‘niche’ websites that cater exclusively to those people.

Providing the requirements are specifically met to that audience with such a niche site, there is no reason why seniors would not be inclined to join the site. On this occasion we take a look at afterfiftyliving.com which is not entirely a dating service but has much going for it to cater to the senior population.
