I'm Dave. I have been a soldier, sailor, police officer, tattoo artist, body piercer, cab driver, steelworker, salesman, and more than a few other things. I currently do web design and graphic design. I am a kind, gentle, patient, creative, faithful, and funny man. I am fiercely loyal to my friends and family, but also have a strong belief in personal accountability. I have the heart of a warrior and the body of an old warrior! I find some truth in Toby Keith's song that says, "I'm not as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I ever was!" I really liked being married. I don't feel my age or really recognize most people my age as being my peers. I've always been young at heart and most of the things that are important to me now are the same ones as when I was in my early twenties. I'm not big on possessions or social recognition and standing. I'm looking for a lady 29 - 48 who is in decent shape. Creativity, intelligence, honesty, integrity, decency, dependability, loyalty, open mindedness, erudition, witty banter, independence, and a great sense of humor are what I look for most in friends. I think one's significant other should be a friend before anything else. I am an Ignostic agnostic atheist. I have a strong Libertarian bent politically. Separated and okay with it. I enjoy spending time with my sixteen year old daughter, doing graphic design and web design, reading a lot, playing volleyball two nights a week, being active on several forums, practicing self reliance and preparedness. I'm hoping to make single friends and maybe meet an honest, intelligent, creative, open, kind, and faithful lady. Working on bettering my health overall while dealing with some chronic issues. I enjoy witty banter, intelligent conversation, brainstorming, being prepared, and providing unique insights. I think outside the box because I was never in it.
