I am a teacher, mother and grandmother. I love the Red Sox, Pats, and Celtics and I am beginning to love hockey, as my grandson is a pee-wee hockey player and I am learning about it. I like a good book, a good movie, and songs of the 60s, 70s and some of the 80s. About life style :
My lifestyle is pretty simple. During the school year, I teach during the day, correct papers, lesson plans, etc. when I get home, then dinner, maybe more school planning or perhaps some television, or a good book, then nity nite as I have to get up at 5:30 for school the next day. As I have three grandchildren who all live fairly close by, my weekends are (many times) involving ballet recitals, hockey games, and/or baseball/football games. Summers are a bit different, more free time. I spend as much time as possible by the seashore, and I especially like Wells, Maine.

My background includes Italian/Irish parents, of which the Italian was the stronger influence. I was raised as a Catholic (parochial schooling) but had issues with the church as I went through a divorce. I would say that I am a non-practicing Catholic, but with the roots of Catholicism embedded within. I value family more than anything in life. I have come to realize that those that we loved first (family) are those that we love most.

I am a teacher in a Middle School. I teacher Language Arts and also Special Ed. Most teachers my age, are either thinking about retiring, or are becoming "burnt out". I am an exception, as teaching was a career change for me about 10 years ago. So I am still loving my job and all the kids that I am fortunate enough to work with, and I feel that I am the fortunate one. Working with these kids is one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.
