I am biracial-My heritage is African-American and was raised here in the UK by mom until I was 13 when she met my math tutor and got married. Dad (yes he is my step dad but he's my dad) says it was love at first sight... mom is still deliberating. My biological father has roots from GA. The large majority of my mom's family lives in the UK and europe.My mom happens to be my role model and hero.I mention this because my mother's love for her siblings and family was past onto me.I am now an only child having lost two siblings while growing up. My mother has been a constant hero in my life. She has taught me to be a kind, forgiving, strong, independent, caring, honest,and purposeful individual. She has been my unconditional love and I thank God everyday she was given to me as my mother. Perhaps a bit sappy but words fail in comparision for my love of her. Life for me has had a few interesting roller coaster rides to say the least, the old saying what doesn't kill you makes you strong
