About me and who I am looking for :
I have a BS degree in environmental science from which I graduated in 2007. I enjoy most any outdoor activity. I enjoy just about all forms of music. I like to sing karaoke sometimes as well (watch out!!). I laugh at some things you would expect, and some you wouldn't, including myself. I build things and photograph things. I draw them on occasion too. Lifes been on hold a bit in the pursuit of education and a career though. I am still happy with what I've done however. Now I am both a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and a retail floor salesman with Habitat Restore and I am proud of the work I do there, and I do hope to broaden my horizons now and meet new people and feel like I am ready to try almost anything.
As I am on a dating website. And I hope my boss doesn't mind that. The girl I am thinking of today has dark hair and blue, green, gray, or hazel eyes. She is confident in herself. She is not an addicted critic nor does she engage in unfounded jealousy and acts of wild drama. She is not much into self expression thru smoking, body piercing, or tattooing when other ways would do. She tries not to hold a doublestandard for her relationships. When she does criticize she can do it in an adult, helpful, inspirational,and sometimes even playful way which can be enjoyable(and I do still need honest helpful critics on occasion). She never stays angry long and works to be patient like me (this is especially helpful for stability when I say poorly thought out things, which I do sometimes still do.) She can share a space and not get irate, dictatorial,or controlling when she finds that something is amiss with some part of the space due to the activity of her significant other. She need only ask if something can be corrected. She makes me laugh, she gets me out and about, I am excited to be with her, and most of all she is excited to be with me and is a real friend. That person is hard to find, its not likely to ever be a deal breaker if you aren't a perfect fit.

Not much to tell about my lifestyle right now, I am in unfamiliar territory in VA now and I work mostly and still need to achieve that work life balance. Its always something creative that I do. Which sometimes means a lot of introversion. But I do try and keep from always being antisocial because of that. Basically I work, I come home, I play on the internet, I go out maybe once or twice a week to do something like shopping at auctions or stores, having a drink with friends, or something like bowling, fishing, or riding bikes. I do also like to cook at home a bit and do some grilling on occasion too.

My mother is French born, the rest of my family is mostly United States born. I don't believe right now that most organized religions are ethical, moral, productive, or necessary. I am generally honest to a fault. My beliefs do not necessarily mean that I don't believe in a supreme being or what may be found in the bible, it just means I question how all this information gets interpreted. I was born in Colorado, I was raised in Georgia, I spent some time in Seattle, and now I am here. I tend not to give my allegiance over to any political party or movement because they all deserve questioning and critique. I am a believer in being an active participant in the democratic process. I am actually fairly conservative. I try to treat women well if and when I am taking time out from work to give meeting them my sincere interest. I also do the same when I have one interested.
