My favorite place to go when I have time and money is Orlando[Disney and Universal]. My hobby is volunteer work I do within a 12 step program. I really enjoy football and anything involving Shawn White. My favorite music is alternative rock and anything involving Amy Lee !! I like all kinds of movies except the proverbial chick flicks, I actually have all the Resident Evil, Underworlds and Saw . I hate wearing ties and dress suits, much more comfortable in jeans and a t shirt. I'm currently in college going for my Associates Degree in Chemical Dependency Counseling. I already have a job waiting for me to finish my degree and then I'll work while still going to school for my Masters, at which time I will be running the place I work as the current owner is waiting for me so he can retire. I'm 45 yrs old in great physical health [except the 40 yr ponch that won't go away]. I workout every other day and enjoy it. I've been clean from drugs for 12yrs and sober from alcohol 6 yrs hence my volunteer work,degree and career. I'm a single dad to a 14 yr old girl whose contact with her mom is virtually non-existent. Hence no one meets her until after a commitment is made to a long-term relationship.
What I'm looking for is a good honest independent woman (not girl as there is a difference) who is through with the rat race of dating endless dogs and losers. Must have communication skills and able to share and receive openly. Monogamy is a must as I expect the same respect and treatment that I give. Must not be a drunk/dopefeind as I am getting my degrees in Chemical Dependency Counseling and wish to leave work at work. Searching for my future, not right now, but that forever thing which no longer exists in our disposable society !!

Clean & sober single parent to a teen girl. 15 credit hours a quarter along with practicum. Homework, bonding with teen (as much as they let us !) Now I don't know about you, but to me that's a 30 hour day. EVERYDAY !! LOL
