One of my favorite authors said that about his main character, and that is how I try to live. I am a warm, loving person who is looking for someone to share life with and to share laughter and good times. Special times are better if shared with special and wonderful people. I have a good heart, am kind, happy and intelligent. My desire is to find a warm, loving woman, though I know there is no perfect woman out there but I believe there is always a special someone for everyone. When I see couples in my neighborhood going for a walk together or raking leaves or sharing a laugh together on their deck, I get very envious. I miss sharing time and space with someone whom I really care about. My family is very important to me and I would expect my partner to value his family as well. I go out of my way to help others and being there for a friend or loved one is so important to me. It gives me great pleasure to know I've made a difference in someone's life. I enjoy dining out on occasion but am perfectly content to dine at home I am relatively easy to please. I love spending time with my boy but he's getting older now and have his own busy lives. My hobbies include exercising, watching baseball, doing yardwork, reading - just keeping busy in general. I am easy to get along with and do not deal well with conflict. I like keeping peace in my life. I do not like pushy or overly persisent people either. I would like to date someone who is interested in being with me and sharing in my family. I am an animal lover and have a dog, a bird, and a fish and would appreciate someone who likes animals as well. A thoughtful, calm, happy to be living kind of guy sounds great to me.
