Art of proposing
Friday 8th Feb 2013 is the Proposal Day of the Valentine Week. You love her but are not confident enough on how to propose to her. You want to make it the most memorable moment of her life and are wondering how you can do it. Women take pride in telling their friends how he proposed. Though she loves you, she will want you to propose in a not so ordinary manner. Here are a few ideas of how to convey your proposal in words and actions. Abruptly saying ‘will you marry me’ by going down on your knees or ‘I love you’ is really not what is going to entice her.

• ‘You are the core of my very being’. Will you marry me? If you both love drama you can arrange with the stage director to call you both on stage once the curtains fall and you can publicly propose to her.
• Add humor to your proposal. ‘I promise you will have the monopoly of the TV remote except during baseball season. Will you marry me?
• Get the road-side caricaturist to sketch the two of you. Your bubbles will read ‘ will you marry me’ or ‘I love only you’ depending on what you want to propose.
• ‘You bring out the best in me; I want to remain that way for this life time. Will you marry me?’
• ‘I fell in love with you the day we met and my love for you is growing, will you be my wife?’
Tell her some reasons why you want to marry her or why you are proposing your love for her. Is it the time for transition from girlfriend to wife or from a friend to a special one? Make this day unforgettable for both of you. Be sure she feels the same way as you do and don’t assume she will say yes. If she asks for more time, give it to her and don’t lose your sanity over it.
There is no “art”. Just propose, she will say yes or no.
