The Low Down on Mingle2.com - Free Dating Platform Review - Part 4

<<< Previous

One of the features that I liked about mingle2 is their mutual match system. Here, you are able to use the system only if you have a photo of yourself uploaded. Your photo will appear against potential dates next to you and your job is to say based on the picture and their profile description which is well below the page whether you approve Yes, No or Maybe. I found there were a good number of profiles presented here and I could go on for a good few minutes on this. What is interesting though about this section is what is Mingle2 doing with all this information in the background? I think Mingle2 takes this information and sends likely candidates that I have selected as ‘Yes’ and notify them of my interest. This is an excellent way to get users coming back to the site. After all, what can be better than bringing folks back to your site to create all those banner impressions and clicks that keeps your daily bread on the table.

In summary, I joined the mingle2 site and wanted to give you my first take. Hopefully, I will be able to tell you how it fares over the test of time which is the real acid test, right?

Here is my score on the mingle2.com site so far.

Registration - Easy but tricky to avoid the service paying tactics - 3 out of 5

Ease of use - Good once you are in - 4 out of 5

How effective - Need more time to check out the ladies on this site, then I will be able to tell you. However, judging by the local pool of users, it seems to have some potential. Check back for more info. but tell me some of your stories.

    Paid site? No thank you.

What tawkify doesn’t tell you is that they really only cover New York City and Sand Francisco/LA area. They’ll take your money but don’t tell you that there aren’t people in your area. The concept is fun and has some novelty but the execution is poor and they live in NYC, SF or LA go for it, otherwise you are screwed.

Interesting. I look forward to part two of the review.

This amystory site is seriously flawed! It rejects my signup no matter what e-mail I use to signup! I tried yahoo, hotmail, gmail, gsx, a company e-mail. ALL OF THEM WERE REJECTED! They must not want any members!

  1. Sounds interesting and fun

I appreciate the new grading scale where you say 3.5 out of 5. I posted dozens of messages back when you just would say 3.5. Knowing that it is 3.5 out of 5 does help.

    Thanks for the review!

  2. I DELETED MY PROFILE SEVERAL MONTHS AGO, WHY?
Because it is the most disgusting, rude, Vulgar, SEX AND DRUG ADDICTS I have ever seen in one area. A N Y T H I N G
GOES! Nobody is monitoring anything in the sexual mood ask that are taking place on this date site is absolutely horrible and I’m not an old lady and I’m not prude but it is out of control and DH needs to be shut down immediately!
The forums doesn’t matter if it’s introductions chat sex dating they’re all sexual all profiles have naked pictures of vaginas and penises and boobs and asses it’s out of control blogging the people who are blogging are a bunch of children
They argued a fuss they fight they call everybody name same it’s just out-of-control nobody’s monitoring it and I need to be shut down…

  1. David says:

Yes, sites are dead. That is why we are all here.
