Honestly? I'm pretty content just reading, writing, listening to good older alternative music (no mainstream or anything written after 1990 per se), and hanging out with my cat. Just passed the 50 mark recently. Was an artist/writer for 100 years in a previous life. Had a bunch of shit go down...nothing serious, just the last of the relatives dying...that sort of thing. Now I'm taking kind of a sabbatical and wondering what to do next if anything. In the meantime, I'll enjoy the sunrises and sunsets, give my cat a hard time, listen to music and watch good films (not movies).
Was more alternative in a previous life...music, film, arts etc. Music: Talking Heads/Brian Eno/Roxy Music type stuff. Might as well add Bowie and Iggy Pop; Lou Reed/Velvet Underground...you get the picture. Films...must be dark and have purpose. Stimulate the brain. Politics and the deterioration of the American Family Unit. I new Fascism would hit home, but didn't realize just how badly the politicians (both sides...all sides) were selling out and didn't realize it would happen this quickly. Look at what's going on now. Just a matter of time. Hence the 'seeking a friend...' line.

I Summed it up on another page, sorry. I do have strong morals and values and principles, and they're all pretty much live and let live. I don't care what people do as long as they don't hurt others intentionally. And I expect the same...it's rare these days though.
Never been arrested; never shot up; don't smoke pot but am an advocate except the 'stoners' walking around living for pot and doing nothing with their lives except worship the bud. Such a waste of life. Or the...........
