I'm a young independent woman in Minneapolis, MN with aspirations to be a Broadway star. I'm nearly done with my college education with only three classes left to graduate with a degree in Spanish and Musical Theatre. Not quite sure what I'll be able to do with said degree, but we'll go from there.
What I'm looking for:
I've never been one to "casually date" or anything like that. I'm more of a relationship type person. That being said, I also think it's important to be friends first, before starting anything remotely serious, so I of course don't want to jump into anything serious from the get go.
Physically I prefer a man to be taller than me, just a quirk I have. I'm 5'9" so anyone taller than 5'10 is great. If you're shorter than me, I apologize, it's nothing personal, just a complex that I have. As far as looks go, I'm not very picky, body type doesn't matter much other than height. I do however believe that there needs to be a certain degree of physical attraction for a relationship to truly work.

About life style :
I work a full time job and go to college at the University of Minnesota, so I'm busy a lot. I live alone so I do like to have company over periodically. I don't go out often but only because of my work schedule, I have to be up early for work most days. On top of that, I just moved back to Minneapolis, from the southern suburbs, so I'm finally getting back into the Uptown night life.

My mother is Cherokee, and my father is Puerto Rican. I was born on the island, and lived there until I was 10, after which my mother brought me to North Carolina to live on the ocean in Outer Banks. Then I moved to Minnesota when I began highschool, and I've been here inexplicably ever since.
I consider myself agnostic, though I'm very connected with nature and the environment. My belief system is closely related to that of the Cherokee.
I'm very liberal politically, though I'm not one to enjoy discussing or arguing about politics.
