I'm not a health nut, but I try not to make my body suffer, which means I drink water (rarely do I drink soft drinks), abstain from sugar most of the time, and avoid things like fast food and fried foods. Exercise bores me, except walking, but I love active work. If something needs to be done I can go to town. Thankfully, my job is active so my fitness level is just about where I'd like it, aside from a little tweaking. I'd like to lose eight pounds and define my biceps, but otherwise I like myself the way I am.
I'm a very focused person and I get pretty driven at times. I put my head down and work, and sometimes I need to be reminded to look up every now and again, :P, but I can always be convinced to take a breather and have some fun.

I was raised Baptist; I left the faith for seven years but I found my way back a year ago. I now attend a Messianic Jewish church, which is a cross between Orthodox Judaism and Christianity, specifically Baptist. I'm very happy here. Our service is very casual, we can interrupt and ask questions and he's happy to answer them. we can discuss things during the service, so it's very interactive. He teaches sound doctrine; I can honestly say going to church is a pleasure now.
I believe in monogamy, of course. I have issue with gender roles; I don't need to be the boss but I'm not subservient either.
I believe children will be what they're expected to be. Raise the bar and your kids will reach it if you expect it. That's how I was raised and how I'll raise my kids. We were expected to behave and show respect and do our chores and have character and give 110% to every endeavor and to value maturity over extensions of youth. It's taken me far in life and I'll give that gift to my own kids.

I'm an assistant store manager at Family Dollar. I stock, run a register if necessary, handle paperwork, and supervise the other employees and do anything and everything that needs to be done. Our schedules are flexible and can change without notice. Whatever is necessary is required of us. I like that though, it makes me feel good. I typically work the closing shift, which is not my preference, but I get an opening shift twice a week.
This job is not as active as my last job, and that's disappointing, but I still move and I love the work and the people I work with.
