I'm a creative, romantic, masculine guy, with blue eyes and brown hair. I work as a writer. While I have developed television programs, advertising and written feature stories, I'm also a jazz pianist, my first love. I have three grown kids, two boys and a girl. My tastes are broad. I love travel, old cars, sailing, photography, popcorn at the movies and being together with someone. On a weekend you're likely to find me meandering through an interesting town, going to an antique or art show, sailing, walking along the ocean or a mountain trail, finding an interesting place for lunch, or just exploring. I love movies, and live events but I'm also open for unusual activities. To be perfectly honest, I feel that while anyone can love walks on the beach and candlelit dinners, the reality is that life is made up of lot's of ordinary things and activities. A real relationship can find comfort just sharing these.
My other personality traits:-
Physically, I’m 5’, 11”, 180 pounds, brown hair and blue eyes. (That means I’m average height and weight). And depending on my mood I might have a trim beard. Politically and socially I’m somewhere between Abbey Hoffman and Attila the Hun... although I tend to be more left than center. I’m an NPR fan and enjoy home grown wisdom from Garrison Keeler and The Tappet Brothers. And when I watch television it’s usually re-runs of “Law and Order”, anything by David Kelley and “Meet the Press” on Sunday mornings. Musical tastes run from Norah Jones to Bill Evans to Sting, yet I still get moved by Michael MacDonald and the Doobie Brothers. Favorite authors include Mark Twain, Chang-rae Lee, David Sidaris and Jack Higgins. (What could be more eclectic than that?) I’m a movie fan but you’re more likely to find me at an independent screening or an art film house.
Your ideal partner and the qualities you are looking for:-
I'd like to meet a bright, articulate, attractive, warm loyal woman to share life's adventure. At the very least it would be great to make a friend and see where it goes. It such a nice feeling to have some one to talk to, to share things with. And at the end of a tough day know that someone cares about how you're doing and wants to hear the sound of your voice. I want someone to cheer my victories, salve my defeats, laugh when I do something foolish and cry when I do something wonderful. I seek a woman to complete me, to be my compass, my true North, and most of all be my best friend in the world. I've met women I could probably live with. I'm looking for the woman I can't live without!
