I love going to sporting events especially football, karaoke with friends even though I can't sing at all, traveling and the theater and movies. I'm pretty social but it may take me a minute to warm up to someone new. I have a very eclectic taste in music I really like it all. I prefer cooler weather to hot. I like to bowl but I'm not very good and going to the gun range and I'm a terrible shot.
I have a fascination with motorcycles, but have never driven one. I'm seriously considering getting my motorcycle license, but I must admit I am a little scared. I also would like to learn how ride a horse. I really like long car rides.
I love the water and would love to retire by one someday. I'm a little old fashion raised a southern military brat I like traditions even if we make our own.

I have 2 beautiful daughters both in college. So I am an empty "nester" and I love it. I have enjoyed spending my extra time doing all the things I haven't been able to do for years and developing new interest. So I am reading and traveling more and picking up new interest like Harley's, horses and the gun range. I started walking and taking zumba classes about a year ago and really love it. I coach allstar cheerleading and absolutely love it. I have been coaching for over 25 years, both of my girls where cheerleaeders I thought I would quit once they were out of school, but it keeps me busy, which I really love being busy. I have a great group of friends who are all in different stages in their lives so we do a much as we can together, but not a lot so I have become pretty confident in doing things on my own. It actually can be really nice sometimes and lonely at others. But I am rediscovering myself which has been really nice.

I was born into a southern baptist household my grandfather was a minister and I have 2 uncles who are ministers now. My father was in the military so besides religion, order and discipline where ingrained in our family practice. Being a military brat afford us the opportunity to travel quit a bit, which opened our minds to different religions, cultures and beliefs which I tribute to opening my mind to other ideas and different perspectives. My family is ultra conservative, but I find myself very conservative in certain areas and a bit progressive in others. My mother was Buddhist but she and my father converted to Christian once they were married.
