About me and who I am looking for :
I have a few rules for myself, and most of them have to do with respecting other peoples right to individuality, even within a relationship. I expect the same consideration in return. It is nice to sometimes cave to things that the other person wants to do that you don't, but I don't think that I have a right to that expectation, and neither does anyone else. Negotiation is part of what makes a relationship fun I think - and it keeps everyone appreciating each other.
Beyond that, similar interests and viewpoints are good. A nice butt couldn't hurt either :)

Well, my name is Aaron. I'm currently a student working on my degree in Economics. I spent a few years as a cage fighter and finally decided to get down to business and apply myself to something more than busting the other guys head open. I'm still a giant fan of MMA and most other combat sports. My favorite genre's of movies include spaghetti westerns, action movies, superhero movies and anything that prominently features loud booms. Once in a while I like to take the Glock out and throw some lead downrange. I'm also a politics and history buff, and I really like to discuss those things at length. I'll jaw your ear off about it if you let me.
In spite of all that I'm a bit of a geek, in the same sense as the grand canyon is a bit of a hole in the ground. I like DnD, round after round of chess, collectible card games, debating who would win in a chess match between Dr. Doom and Batman, science fiction, fantasy, yadda yaddda lol.

I'm a country boy who's spent a lot of time in the city, basically. I was born on a farm, and spending time there helped me develop my work ethic and my pragmatism. Living in the city helped me become a little more hard nosed about things.
My ethics are mostly utilitarian with a hint of retributivism. I believe in God, but don't think he intervenes in the world. My guiding star in terms of what is right is liberty and freedom - I don't interfere in other peoples personal lives without permission and I expect the same consideration. I believe in giving a hand up, not a hand out, and strengthening your fellow man by letting him overcome his own challenges, and only assisting if he absolutely needs it. I believe you should do everything you do out of love and respect for your fellow man, even if it's punishment, and that punishment should be very hard, but also that mercy is what makes us human, and mercy is worthwhile. My ultimate credo is "Do no harm".
