You have finally landed yourself with a date, you should pat yourself on the back and expect many more dates.
However, always keep in mind that the profile that you see online can be different to the person you see in real-life.

Go with an open mind and plan the event before you go such as where you will meet and how you will recognize each other.
It also means finding a good place to meet where you can converse and talk without being interrupted and get to know each other.
Avoid crowded places and go somewhere you can’t be disturbed but always in a public place.
Usually a coffee house is a good place to visit but you may find their seating environment too close to each other to be comfortable.
Choose a place where you and your potential date can agree on.
Try not to go to movies on a first date as you don’t have the opportunity to talk to each other but if you are able to go afterwards for a chat, then it’s okay.
A restaurant or a dining area is also good place for a first date.
