Pyar To Hona Hi Tha is a love story of a thief and is inspired by the famous Hollywood movie “French Kiss” starring Meg Ryan and Kelvin Kline. Pyar to Hone Hi Tha is based on a similar plot where Sanjana (kajol) staying alone in Paris comes to India to get married. She meets a Shekhar (Ajay Devgan) who use her bag to smuggle a necklace into India. This sets the tone for the movie as the plot goes through twists and turns.
