I was raised Christian, but soon discovered I didn't believe in the teachings, specifically that there is a God that loves you, but if you do bad and don't repent, he will send you to Hell. My problem with that is if you do something good because you are afraid that if you do something bad, you will be severely punished, it isn't really good. I prefer to do good things because I WANT to, not because I HAVE to. My life basically follows that, with a few deviations.
