A little bit of poetry I wrote a long, long time ago:)

A stranger you say, your face turning gray
some words mean more than they seem
What meant I to say, when turned you my way
was strange.. you’re the girl of my dreams
I saw you last night, as I turned out the light
and slumber soon turned into sleep
But it gives me a fright, for to see in the light
my fantasy girl on the sheets
You can’t co-exist, on this I insist
alone, without my consent
but when I awoke, and to me you spoke
I thanked God for a gift heaven sent
For once you were just, a dreamy dream dust
shimmering deep in my heart
But now you are real, for this I can feel
And honey, not just with my heart
