What’s the Catch?
The cost of living will someday fall
food and housing, free to all
Paradise perhaps, you speculate?
no it’s 21 hundred 98
10 billion souls on this poor ground
5 million jobs, to go around
Money is so hard to get
this is why, your needs are met
The government provides the least
standard fare, damn sure no feast
They clothe you yes, but in plain white
not 1 bright color, is found in sight
The housing is at best blase
for any frills you must pay
No you don’t have to slave each day
to turn around, give it all away
To pay the rent and buy the food
now most folks, just sit and brood
A job is like, a pearl, a prize
something for which, all will strive
Every cloud has it’s silver lining
but who says, it’s bright and shining?
Utopia, something all would snatch
the better it sounds……..
……….the Bigger the Catch!
