About me and who I am looking for :
Hey, I'm Dan. I'm currently looking for people to meet and get to know. I'm a nice guy that loves to meet people. Regardless of where a relationship may go, I like to stay in contact with people and learn about who they are. I love music. I play a few instruments (violin, mandolin, guitar, etc) and I'm involved in a few bands. Some are unofficial and one is making it's way out. When I'm not playing music, I generally like to be outside doing things. Nothing in specific, just so long as I'm active. I suppose I've been biking a lot lately. I'm a psychology major at the University of Illinois and I would like to do school psychology as a career. We'll see where life takes me though. I'm sort of a free-spirit and for the most part I would say that no plans are the best plans. To a certain degree of course.
I'm looking for a girl that is awesome. A girl that knows who she is and is not afraid to show me that. I want someone that would like to go out with me and have a great time. My lifestyle is one that is pretty free-spirited. Sometimes I believe no plans are the best plans, to a certain degree of course. But I just try to be nice to everyone that I meet or comes my way. Even just smiling at random people on the street if we make eye-contact is something I hope brightens their day. I love to meet people and am constantly trying to get out and get to know people. I love my friends and they're the best people in the world. So is my family. As much as I like to stay active, I'm a big fan of just having relaxing days/evenings playing games or watching movies.

Well, I was raised in the suburbs. However, my family has always had a knack to try new things and explore different cultures. Although I label myself a Christian, I don't believe that it necessarily fits in with the rest of the denominations. Not saying I don't like them, but I just think my faith is a more personal thing than an organized group thing. I'm all for being the nice guy. Sometimes it has its setbacks, true, but in the end it helps me feel the best about myself. They say nice guys finish last, but all I hear from girls on the internet is how they wish they could meet one. Well, here I am. I'm up for the taking, if you want.
