This is my first time making use of an on-line personals site, so I'm extremely new at this! But I thought I might give it a try! I am looking to develop a friendship that might lead to something more intimate, and having fun along the way!
I'm 51, and it's been a long, but not unexciting, road! I'm a high school English teacher, and I love my kids! The job can be a tad exhaustive, however...that's the one drawback. But I am good at what I do, and the only thing missing from my life, otherwise, is someone to be with. (I think I would like that above all else!)

What I like to do for fun :
I love walking in the sun! I like to be outdoors when the weather is good, and I like to get away from the more urban settings. However, I am a huge fan of the arts - I enjoy pop concerts, the Ballet, and art exhibits!

About life style :
My lifestyle seems to revolve around work - as this is the way it is for secondary level education teachers, alas. The job truly takes up the lions share of my day's time during the week. However, when I can manage it, I LOVE to break away and get out to see things -- pop concerts (I love music), museum exhibits, and especially the Ballet (I've attended the San Francisco Ballet since I was a young boy.) I also love riding my motorcycle (when the weather is nice!) and going for long walks in the sunshine (away from urban settings!) I would much prefer to do it less by myself now, and more with someone I love to be around!

I grew up in San Francisco (born and raised -- not many of us natives left!) My parents are from totally divergent cultures, and both immigrants. My mother is from Italy, and my father is from Scotland (SO strange that pairing!) My two sisters and I grew up in the 60's and 70's and had a wonderful childhood! (But my parents did tend to be a bit strict with us...)
I love the City, and still consider it my home. I always will!
