I was born here in Shreveport, but moved to Baton Rouge when I was 10 to get away from... everything. My sister was killed here in this city when I was 6. I wasn't sad about it because my mind protected me from the pain. It blocked out all memories I had of her except for my two most angry ones, therefore, giving the illusion that she didn't love me anyway. Everyone says differently though. I have one brother who is still in Baton Rouge. I dropped out at 16 and got my GED a month later. I'm back here because I made some mistakes and I'm no longer welcome at home by my step father.
