About me and who I am looking for :
There are alot of things that interest me but I'll try to sum up a couple that are the most important to me right now. I spend alot of my free time recording and playing music, reading books that I find at goodwill, cooking food that I do not find at goodwill, and traveling. I'm not really particular when it comes to getting on the road as far as destinations go, I do prefer to drive or take a train over flying though. For a living I am a glassblower, have been for 10 years, and I am also a part time bartender because I like the social atmosphere of a neighborhood pub. I just recently moved to a new town and bartending has also helped me meet some of the townies. But on the other hand, it's hard to meet a nice girl in a bar, not that I was really trying very hard anyway. I'm here to try to start a friendship with an interesting and interested woman that may turn into something more, but at least to get to know some new people. Maybe that's possible......
In a companion I seek a woman who respects herself, is comfortable with independence, kind, and has a unique sense of humor. It's difficult for me to say I like a certain color of hair or more defined physical descriptions when I speak about what sort of woman I'm attracted to because I just don't think that way. To be honest, of course I need to feel an attraction to any woman that I would develop feelings for, but there isn't a defined "type of look" that i prescribe to. Basically, if we can talk and keep each others interest, share laughs, and work as a real partnership, then that's my "type".

Since I work for myself I get to enjoy having alot of freedom. I'm in this life to experience new things and also to keep experiencing things I've known to love. Material posessions and the magazine type of lifestyle are not big portions in my mindset, keeping up with the jones' is not the type of race I'm running. I spend a considerable amount of time working on various creative projects and try to involve art in my life in many ways. I feel happy being an independant man in the way that I don't need to rely on other people to sign my checks and that I'm comfortable in my own skin standing on my own two feet and walking around the world. That was a run on sentence but I'm not very concerned. I feel like having a companion to share time with could possibly open up an exciting new chapter of my life and I feel like I have alot to contribute to a compassionate and understanding relationship. I hope something like becomes part of my lifestyle description in the future.
