For fun I tend to go to the gym, go target shooting. during spring summer I hang out on my boat, go fishing, pretty much anything that keeps me on the water.I enjoy working on machines, Ive always been good at that I can fix anything from a toaster to a power plant. Before college I was really into climbing, backpacking and horseback riding, just haven\'t had the time or opportunity recently. I used to box still do from time to time, but well I haven\'t had the time to keep up with it so Im not nearly as good as I used to be. Im also huge Redsox and Bruins fan, have been all my life.

I believe you tend to regret the things you didn't do far more than you ever will the mistakes you make. I sure have put this philosiphy to the test because there are a number of things that I have regretted doing but by hook or by crook I have always managed to survive whatever obstacles end up in my path. Oddly with my no regrets philosiphy I tend to be disinclined to gamble, neither with my life or my money. This is because I have the worst luck in the world, If I take a risk 99% of the time I loose. However having to fight tooth and nail for almost everything has taught me the true value of what I have.

Right now Im only like a month away from sitting for my ships third engineer exams. Im a marine engineer last couple winters I worked on military sea lift oil tankers. I ship out every couple months, normally for like two months at a time and once I get my license hopefully Ill get a more regular work load. The marine engineer gig is pretty sweat actually, as an officer on ship you live like a king, six figure pay check, no desk, about six months of the year to do whatever you want, trade off is you have to go live on a ship for the other six. But more than all the perks of the job I like going to sea, there is nothing ive found that can compare with being out on the deep water.
