My name's Jacob, or Jake if you prefer.
I'm a student and amateur novelist. I spend a good portion of my free time writing. I get writer's block a lot though and so I haven't spent as much time as I'd like being creative. I usually wind up wandering off and watching movies for "inspiration." I'm planning on getting a job in law enforcement after I leave college later this year. It kind of runs in my family and I've decided to officially label it a family tradition.
When I'm not in school or writing I'm all about having a good time. Usually with a group of friends, out doing God knows what and enjoying life. Movie theaters, pool halls, pubs, bars, comedy clubs...just some of my favorite haunts. I generally just go where I don't think I'll be bored. If you suggest something and can present an honest case for why it won't be a total bore, consider me there.
I need someone who isn't boring and is willing to just have a good time, but at the same time I need someone who can be perfectly happy just staying in for the night and enjoying a quiet evening.

I'm currently getting into shape as I plan on embarking into a career in law enforcement. I used to be pretty unhealthy but since last year I've kicked it into high gear and try to take care of myself. I don't drink to excess and I don't smoke. I try to run at least a mile if not two miles a day, if possible. Plus I walk across campus all day four days a week. I do admit I can get a bit lazy, but I'm a part-time writer, which means time spent behind a desk typing.
