I am a down-to-earth, hard-working, honest woman. I am no barbie doll so if your idea of the perfect woman is one with a perfect body you can stop reading. I believe in being kind to others, never taking more than what you deserve, being honest even if it makes me uncomfortable, and would like to meet a man with the same type of values. I am most grateful for my beautiful son and am proud of the job I did in raising him. I don't believe that a write-up or a picture is enough to know if someone is right for you. I enjoy getting to know people through conversations over coffee and see if an interest is sparked. I have tried online dating before because it is what fits my busy schedule. If you are unsure if you want to get to know me, please don't waste my time with endless emails and promises to call and never do. I am looking for someone who is kind and honest and hard-working that knows when to laugh and when to be serious and mature. I could go on and on about what I would like but I would rather just make some friends and get to know you. As I wrote, I am no Barbie doll with the perfect body but I do think, and have been told, I am sexy. I keep myself fit by mountain biking, running with my dogs, and hiking on the weekends. I love to cook but there just really hasn't been an incentive without someone special to do it for or share with. I take care of myself, clean up nicely, but don't mind getting dirt under my finger nails. I am a single mom so that means I have to fix things and get dirty doing yard work. Right now work a ridiculous amount of hours because there is no one special. I am also working on my Masters degree so that keeps me busy. One interesting fact about my career as a biologist is I have a species named after me. There's a conversation starter! I don't know what else I could possibly say to attract the right person. This is so much pressure!
