My youth years growing up in Mobile was a rich experience and my childhood was a very happy one. I feel fortunate to have had parents that allowed me the freedom to grow and develop unhindered by the norms of the day and location. I received my elementary education there, graduating from Murphy High School in 1966 at which time I moved to Dallas, TX to pursue my life as an adult.

I am proud on my Appalachian heritage and visit the mountains in the area each year with my older brother, younger sister and her husband, camping along the Blue Ridge Parkway in Spring and Autumn... I was one time married for eight years and was divorced in 1979 and have remained single since. My family consists of one daughter, now deceased at 42 years, one son at 38 years, three granddaughters ages 18, 24 and 27 years, one grandson age 21, two great-granddaughters ages 10 and 6 and two great-grandson age 7 and 1. We have always been a close, loving and caring family and get together during holiday weekends where we all have lake homes at Lake Whitney, TX where I now reside.

I work on my own as an Importer and Exporter , I started working with my grand father in Rome, Italy , Its a Mineral resource Company , he started running the company by himself until he got my dad involved , it got to a time when my dad thought about his health and then realized he should get me involved, in order for the mineral resource work to stay in the family . I really enjoy my work a whole lots .
