Well, I am back on the dating scene, been divorced a year and a half and am quite comfortable now with that and myself.........but I am ready now to find the one I was really meant to be with. I think I will recognize her this time..........
I have also changed professions, not a carpenter anymore, now I drive truck across country and Canada. I am really enjoying this, and plan to do it for another couple yrs, then decide where to get a local driving job and buy some land, build a house.

I was raised conservative, but my views are more closely aligned to libertarian.
I believe in the golden rule, and in putting family / loved ones first above all else. I am close to my brothers and would die for them and their children without hesitation. I would rush into a burning building to rescue a child that I didn't even know. There is no heroic act without loss or the expectation of loss /sacrifice.
I believe love is like a flower, it must be watered and taken care of regularly or it will wilt and die. This love/flower can only take so much abuse and or neglect before it withers and can never be saved. Speak kind soft words and the love will grow and grow.
I value honesty above all other virtues, without it, there is nothing for me.
I am a carpenter, as my father, his father, even my mother's father.
I began work in this field in 1980,summers off from high school. So I have been swinging a hammer for a few decades now.
