About me and who I am looking for :
Since Thanksgiving of 2009, I've lost about 70 lbs and have finally hit my goal weight! It was definitely not easy but so worth it! Now that I'm in shape, I want to find somebody to share my time with that also likes going to the gym. I've only gone by myself but I think it would be something fun to do together. That being said, I don't mind if you don't go to the gym or workout at all. This is just something I need to do for myself. I just want some support! :)
Aside from keeping fit, I like to watch football, movies, and a number of TV shows. I also like travelling back to Detroit a few times a year to visit my family and friends. I moved here about 5 years ago for the job I currently have which I love but I moved by myself. It was definitely an adjustment that I'm still working through. It's not easy meeting new people and even harder meeting the right girl. It's been a long time since I've been in a serious relationship and I hope to be in one again someday. Until then, I'm excited to date and see what's out there again... no pressure ladies! If we hit it off, great! If not, let's at least have fun hanging out, right?
I'd like to meet a cute girl who has a good head on her shoulders. Someone that is sweet but not too sweet. I like to joke around a lot and I love hearing people laugh so you have to have a good laugh! I appreciate and value honesty and trust is important too. I'm a sucker for a great smile too...

I work Monday-Friday and have all of my weekends free unless there's something crazy going on at work then I may stop in for a couple hours over the weekend to get some things done. I go to the gym after work most days and I try to get there about 5 days a week if possible.
I put down that I don't smoke but I actually do currently. I have a quit date of 6/1/10 and I plan on sticking to it so there's your honesty! :)

I come from a mixed religion family. My mother is Jewish and my dad thinks he's Lutheran lol. Religion wasn't a big deal in our household but I did go to Hebrew school to learn for my Bar Mitzvah when I was 13. I get together with my mom's side of the family for some of the Jewish holidays and see my dad's side for the christian holidays. That's about as religious as I get... No church, no synogogue but I don't have a problem with either.
