When I start work, I usually know some of the task I need to accomplish for the day and start making my list. This is about 6AM Now at 6:01 everything changes because one of the owners who I affectionately refer to as my boss has a new list of things that needed to be accomplished before I started working. I do like him although plus I also know with successful competitions of these tasks I will remain in high cotton, where ever that is. Then I remember high cotton is a good place to be. Where is High Cotton?
The rest of the day I spend frantically trying to reach my daily deadlines. However at lunch I do take a break and like today as I got my chicken nuggets and waffle fries I thought tomorrow I can have a salad or fruit. I am making positive progress because at least I thought about fruit and a salad. After my 1/2 hour lunch I get back to my frantic bird-dogging of vendors and at 3PM (most days leave for home). However some days the frantic search isn't done to later.
