What I like to do for fun :
I was born and raised in the South Texas Brush Country - and left
Austin to go to graduate school at the University of Wisconsin in
Madison. My Ph.D. was in experimental psychology, though I also took
work in art history and art. I was a potter for several years. My
interests now are in Bible studies, local Texas history and more
important, food supplements and regular exercise. I post regularly on Facebook.

I grew up on the edge of a small town about twenty miles SW of San Antonio. I had about 330 acres of fields and brush land to roam in. At the time the area was still partly cowboy country,
But the city was only about a 25 minute drive away and I spent some time there. I did many of the things Texas teenagers do, such as playing on the high school football team, working in the fall harvest, working cattle and running around at night on the country roads in cars. I then went to college at the University of Texas at Austin, and from there went on to the University of Wisconsin where I developed new interests, in experimental psychology, pottery, art, improvised music and by the late sixties I was involved in some allied movements of the counterculture. I changed again when I left Madison for Austin and became a Christian. In more recent years my interests and values have been in Bible studies. I post on blogs and some forums about Bible studies and current events.
