intelligent, funny, old soul that is young at heart

I have many great loves in life %u2013 probably too many to list here, but among the top of the list are traveling (when I get the chance), discovering things I never thought I'd do (like rock wall climbing), enjoying good company (not often enough), and of course spending time with my son and family. I've been looking forward to the next chapter of my life, I just haven't found the right person to write it with. I'd like to think that the right person would become my best friend. I have a well developed, however warped it might be, sense of humor, am a tad playful, and fairly intelligent and enjoy those who have the same qualities. CHEMISTRY is so important to any relationship, and I'm not ashamed to say that I'm willing to wait to find it.....you know the kind where when you're together you can't quite believe you've been lucky enough to spend time with someone so "right" and when you're not together you're just marking time until you are. I enjoy conversation on varying levels, I guess I could be considered to be diverse....hence, I enjoy someone who is diverse and likes sharing his thoughts on the many things the world gives us. If any of these things sound like a connection could be made, I'd enjoy hearing from you. Sorry guys, as shallow as this sounds ...if you don't have a picture posted don't waste our time. It all goes back to that chemistry thing.
