I wonder why I can almost taste happiness & then it's snatched away from me. I can almost feel it, touch it, see it, & then it's gone again. I try to be the kind of man I expect everyone would like me to be, but then I get tired & the pain slams a door in my face & I want to cry. I try to close the door on my past, my hurts, my demons.... But somehow they figure out how to pick the locks & then they're there making my mind a nightmare that never ends.
