I'm new to the dating scene and thought I'd try a dating site. I like to write, play and record music.
In my former life I owned several restaurants and was the chef. I like to Oil paint - Landscapes. I toured the country for a year playing guitar. I've had an interesting life so far and I've done a lot of things. Please ask if you'd like to know more...... it's just too much to write down.
As of now, I work as a nurse in hospice. I am going back to school for my masters.

Grew up in the Bronx. Happy childhood (mom has passed - the greatest woman I've ever known). I'm a recovering Catholic. The nuns beat God out of me. I believe in God but my views are my own take on things. 4 sibling, we all get along. Pursued an acting and music career for a while. I was able to audition for Broadway but was never called back for a second audition. So, I kind of "got it" that I wasn't going to make it in that career. I know people who are still pounding the pavement after 30 years of no success. It's important to be able to let go of a long investment and walk away knowing you gave it your best. Otherwise there is potential for unhappiness. Let go..... move on. There is happiness around the corner where you least expect it. Risk = contentment. Went to college and became a nurse. I'm planning on more college for my masters.
I have three houses and may spend my retirement on Land I have in a place that is not very well known by the masses, surrounded by farms and water
