I am a retired federal civil service employee. I relocated from the DC/ MD area at the end of 2007. I am fairly new to Rocky Mount, NC I know very few places however I get around when I ride with my daughter to the various churches when she has to sing. I temd to hang out at the mall or walmart during the day. In the evening I look at my favorite sitcoms until I fall asleep that is about the jist of of my day. Sometime their is a special church activity that I may attend with my daughter.

I grew up under the watchful eye of my aunt and uncle and many cousins. They were Pentecostal very strict Christians. Our values were shaped at a very young age through prayer and churchuch attendance and participation. Many of the neighborhood children were taken in to my aunts home and raised by her since they were abandoned. So compassion as well as character played an important part in our upbringing. We learned whatever economical problems that were on the outside it did not seem to show on my uncle's aunt's face nor did they complain at least not in front of us. I am plain no hype , down to earth gal.
