My name is Marquita, I'm a 28 year old kindergarten and first grade teacher. I have no children and have never been married. My favorite thing in the world is music, and I probably have the most random and eclectic ipod on the planet...I like a little bit of everything; I'm actually a classical violinist too. My relationship with God is extremely important to me. I love to laugh and have a good time with friends, but I'm definitley not a club hopper or a partier, my idea of a good time include things like, bowling, laser tag, kareoke, pool, and miniature golf, although I'm really bad at all of these activities...except kareoke lol.
I guess what I'm looking for is normalcy. Online dating has proved to me that this is not something that's easily found. I'm not looking to "hookup" as the young folks say, I just want to meet someone nice, go out on a few dates, and get to now them...does dating not work like this anymore? If the rules changed , I need a new copy of the handbook.

I guess you could say I have pretty conservative values when compared with the average person my age, and my faith has a lot to do with that. I have the priviledge of being the person who teaches children to read, write, add, subtract and develope their basic social skills...these are things that they will carry with them for the rest of their lives.
