I come from a racially diverse background. My mother is Irish/German/English and my father is African-American. We have everything in my family from Jews, Mexicans, Asians, homosexuals, republicans, democrats, Texans to New Englanders. I love how open and beautiful my family is. We accept everything. I'm a Unitarian Universalist who doesn't believe in organized religion, but I was baptized Methodist. I've always been taught to be open, honest, loving, and compassionate towards anyone and everyone :)

I believe there is a higher being. Whether it be Buddha, God, etc isn't for me to decide. Religion is all about faith...faith in something out there that makes us want to strive for greatness, but the greatness is within us and, I believe, that if we are happy with ourselves, we are doing what we're meant to be doing.
