Occasionally two ships will pass in the night, Running silent and deep as they may, Carrying their cargo of wishes and dreams,
To be carefully offloaded someday.
An uncharted course is adventure of sorts,
Adrift and free as can be,
First testing the wind, then searching again,
For contentment and harmony.
It’s true our ships , did pass in the night ,
When they touched , we briefly made port,
There was tenderness shown , our loneliness gone,
We’d each other , though the moment was short .
We laughed and we cried , we shared and we tried ,
We admitted we genuinely cared ,
We remembered the sorrow and pain from the past, We trusted as much as we dared.
Yet , if it is so , that our ships they must go,
And sail opposite courses they might ,
I am richer you see, with the sweet memory,
That our two ships...... passed in the night.

I love the outdoors and Mother Nature( I’m the guy you see in the park smelling the flowers) Some of my interests include; fishing, golf, flying kites, anything to do with the ocean, from just sitting or walking on the beach, to watching a Loggerhead Turtle laying her eggs on a moonlit beach.
