I was born in New York. My father was in the Army so I spent some time overseas. In between stints in France and Germany, I lived in NY. No, I am not from the City. By the time I graduated, I had been to at least 8 different schools. When my father retired, we moved to Louisiana (he was from here) and have been here ever since. It was quite a culture shock when I moved here. The accents, the very-new intergration (that was in 1965)the heat, the food! Good pizza was very hard to find. I craved bagels, english muffins and egg-creams for such a long time! and I adjusted, but wish we had cool weather just a little longer during the year. I married, raised my children here and have many long-time friends.
