About me and who I am looking for :
Hey! My name is Shannon and I am currently in college pursuing a degree in Psychology. I have a passion for people and I hope to one day work in a church as a therapist. I have gone back and forth on deciding which type of counselor I want to be, but through life experiences God has slowly revealed to me where my heart is in Psychology. I want to witness God's love to others who have suffered from abuse, addiction, and emotional pain. I love children and also hope to counsel them as well because I believe it is important for young and impressionable children to have someone to trust for advice. I want to serve God and witness His love through being a counselor. I believe that through Christian guidance any one can start over on a new path with God. I would describe myself as a role model because I always make sure that everything I do is reflecting God. I have big plans and dreams for my life! Jesus Christ is number one in my life and through Him I walk my path. I know that I am young, but I know what I want in life. I am ready to find a strong Christian man who also knows what he wants. One of my dreams is to have a family and a faithful husband to share that with. The first thing people always notice about me is my kind heart and sincerity. I always make sure that I am reflecting God through my actions and appearance.
I have been dancing my entire life and I also write. God has given me many talents in which I use to glorify him. Another gift of mine is that I am good at reading people and seeing past facades. Because I am a Psychology major I have a fun advantage in dating and interacting with people. I am a very caring and giving person and I can guarantee that the lucky man who wins me over will receive honesty, faithfulness, love, acceptance, appreciation, and respect from me.

I love to dance and be active! One of my favorite ways to relieve stress is to run down to the lake by my house. I have a place at the lake where I like to sit and pray to God. I love nature and being surrounded by God's beautiful creations. Another part of my lifestyle is being involved with church. I love going to church every Sunday and my bible study group on Monday nights. I am currently seeking a bigger church to become involved with because I love to meet new people who share my love for Christ!

I was raised in a Christian family and grew up in a Southern Baptist church. I made the decision to be baptized at the age of 15 but after that my walk with God became rough. I am now proud to say that I am stronger in my Faith with God than I have ever been in my entire life. I am excited about His plan for me and continuing to grow closer to Him everyday! I value myself and who I am in God's eyes. I know that there are a lot of men out there, even on dating sites, who only want sex. Because I value the way that God created relationships to be, I want a relationship that is based on God and true love.

I am currently in the process of finding a job because I want to have a place of my own and save up for a new car! I am looking to become a dance teacher or work in either a daycare, doctors office, or a church. My ultimate goal after college is to be a therapist in either a school or church. The reason I want jobs now that include working in a church or with children is because I believe it looks good on a resume to have had jobs that parallel your degree.
