Headline : Our lives are a journey of self discovery. Even though we know where we are and where we want to be, along the way we stop to check the map. Some of us re-evaluate things and perhaps choose a different course to reach that destination or change destinations. On occasion we can tend to get off track, lost. Some notice right away and make quick turns to get back on track. Others may keep drifting. For me, I have been speeding down the highway of life. I'm known for a lead foot. I won't get into the past because it's just that, the past. My experiences have made me who I am (Good or Bad) and there is nothing that will change it. Currently, I have noticed I am off course. I have checked the map and my destination is the same. However, learning from experiences, I am not jumping back in the car and taking off like Danica Patrick racing for the win. I'm not too concerned about being in first place. I just want to be able to finish the race, with my car intact. I want to enjoy the ride and be able to look back and say I did the best I could do. With that in mind I am heading back on course, but instead of taking off at 100 mph, I'm doing the speed limit and enjoying the scenery. I plan to stop several times along the way and make sure I am still on track. I have my guide and I will be referring to it every step of the way. If you are of pure heart I hope to meet you on my travels. I hope that our encounter(s) are mutually enlightening no matter how brief or long they may be. If you have a selfish and twisted heart, do not try to flag me down or approach me at one of my stops. I warn you, I am packing, I am a damn good shot and I can hit a moving target. I wouldn't chance it if I were you
