patient, reliable

I’ve always been a quiet and shy person. I can’t normally strike up a conversation with a total stranger. Oddly enough, my dad and brother don’t have problems with it. I guess I’m just too critical of myself. Before I became an officer in the military, I would let everything get to me and I over dramatized a lot. In the passed few years I’ve learned to not take things so seriously and the stress is too hard on me and definitely not necessary. My patience level, I feel, is extremely high. Well, at least on most things. As an officer, in order to show that I have control of the mission I’m not supposed to show anger or frustration. I’ve applied that to my everyday life for the most part and it’s helped me tremendously. People might think that military officers are bossy. That is so not me. I don’t look for conflicts or drama and I HATE to fight. I like to stay busy doing something. I work well with my hands and I’m extremely handy around the house. I can fix and install most things.
