I have joint custody of a daughter and a step son that has, and always will, know me as dad and when they are with me I do normal dad stuff bowling, parks, stay at home with dinner and movies. During the times they are not with me during the week I pretty much stay at the house, my work requires me to be there very early. But on the weekends they are not with me I like to go out and meet up with friends, go on road trips, or party like a teenage rock star.

My hours vary, some times during the year I have to be at work by 1am. Most mornings I have to be there before 5am. It's hard work but the big picture at the end of the tunnel keeps me going. I also have really good benefits.
