I am looking for a serious relationship leading to marriage.

I like most anything that has to do with the outdoors. I keep a boat at Lake Oconee (out I-20 east about 50 miles). I also bought my son a jet ski and when I found out how much fun they are I had to have one too. Other interests include: concerts (love Chastain), comedy clubs, dining in and out, movies, museums, music (mostly oldies or the new type country, which, I think is middle of the road between country and pop), spectator sports (football, college basketball and hockey), theater and travel (especially spur of the moment get-a-way weekends). I like going new places and trying new things, however this doesn't mean that I don?t enjoy sharing a romantic evening at home with someone I care about. I suppose you could say I like about anything where you have a good time, but if you are sharing it with someone you care about almost anything is enjoyable. I strongly believe that there are four important ingredients in any partnership: (1) Trust, (2) Communication, (3) Sharing and (4) Flexibility. If these four ingredients are present in any partnership, almost any problem can be worked out. With trust comes honesty and respect, you must respect your partner and be able to trust your partner or why bother even starting the relationship. I feel most relationships fail because of lack of communication, you must tell your partner your wants and needs and be willing and able to listen to them. You can?t keep your feelings inside you. Sharing is the interest that you have in what your partner does and feels, you must be interested in what your partner likes to do and be willing to do it together. Anything is much more enjoyable when it is shared with someone you care about. Flexibility is the ?give and take? that must be part of any partnership, you must be willing to compromise. One partner cannot make all of the decisions; it should be a joint effort. Also, there must be a little humor mixed in. Everything can?t be serious.
