Why Polygamist Relationships are Creating a Hype?

Yes, you read it correct, the recent example in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil where a woman is asking the government to stay away from her polygamist relationship with her partner. You would think that everyone would say no when it comes to sharing a partner for an intimate relationship, especially women.

Why Polygamist Relationships are Creating a Hype

Why Polygamist Relationships are Creating a Hype

This polygamist relationship is between a couple and a female friend of the male partner. All three of them are happy with this relationship and don’t want others to interfere as it’s none of their business.

Jumpdates did a research on this and found that these polygamist relationships are not new on earth as Kings in India used to have more than one queen at a time. They all used to stay together, there were no such problems and polygamist relationships were practiced (few in numbers) before 1955 when Indian parliament made an amendment to the Hindu marriage.

This shows that polygamist relationships are not new and they go back in history and we maybe seeing a revival. Are we on the verge of developing a new relationship trend amongst young generation and referred to it as GenNext?

Interesting. I posted a comment yesterday and it never showed up! I wonder if today will be different.

Polygamy is certainly nothing new. It is very much alive and well today.

Because a lot of people have seen the institution of “marriage” as “between a man and a women”, meaning “two partners” or “people” involved in the marriage. Which is why a lot of people don’t like the idea, most are people who practice a religion, such as myself.

  3. Ceosky says:

I really dont know, but we do not live in biblical times.

  4. Melissa says:

I think there will be a lot of people trying to keep marriage/relationships between man and woman, but I think in the future(may be past my lifetime) I think there will be more polygamy. Why is it anyone’s business who marries who and how many as long as it don’t directly put me in harm I don’t care. Just like gay people, I don’t care if it makes them happy then I am for it!

  5. dee says:

I practice a religion also and biblical times never ever did dictate that a man could only have one wife, but that he care and love them equally and her children. I am searching for a woman or couple to add to my relationship because I feel that he can handle it and I love him. I feel like these days are not different, in that marriage is about an agreement to fill certain roles in a relationship and to be responsible for each other and try to be happy together. I think that laws on marriage are changing and will continue to change.

I think polygamy is something that a lot of people, feel like something they could never do because they feel how could you share someone you love with other people .Personal I don`t care what people do behind close door .
