Ignighter.com has had some of a checkered history here in USA since its birth in 2008 by the three Jewish founders Daniel Osit, Adam Sachs and Kevin Owocki. All three wanted to create a ‘group’ type dating site and worked hard at acquiring members but they didn’t see the traction they wanted in the USA but overseas the website particularly in India is doing very well.

The site in India is now ranked 2,779 according Alex traffic report but has a dismally low traffic level in the USA. However, according to the NY times reporting on this article, the co-founders have now shifted their marketing focus to India and have already acquired additional angel funding to the tune of $3 million.
